Videos
iMovie allows students to combine text, voice, pictures, and video to make a video that looks professional with a variety of editing tools.
Shadow Puppet Edu allows students to sequence photos and videos to create their own video. Students can add in music, voice, and text boxes. Shadow Puppet Edu has searchable images from Library of Congress, NASA, and more.
Text
Book Creator will allow students to publish their own books in this very easy to use app. Students can insert picture, text, and voice.
Popplet is a mind mapping graphic organizer tool that allows students to create boxes with images, drawings, and text with just a click. Great for sequencing, cause/effect, problem/solution, main idea and details, etc.
Interactive
ThingLink allows a student or teacher to make an image interactive by embedding text, photos, videos, or wesbsites into specific parts of the image that all become clickable.
TouchCast is a video recording tool that adds an interactive feature. Teachers or students can insert files, videos, images, whiteboard drawings and more into a video that all become clickable.
Presentations
Prezi allows students to create slides with information and images to display learning in creative templates.
Keynote is a presentation app that makes inserting text and images easy. Students can create slides to share in an easy presentation mode.
